2E4 class camp 2010

Day 1 (3 Feb)

Today is our class camp so I am quite excited! I made my way to the hall after I reached school.With my two bag packs.As I waited for camp to start, I kept thinking of how the camp will look like.Afterall the camp seems fun as our first activity is kayaking.My parthner is Syafiqah.Kayaking together is quite fun.But after about 20 minutes later,it tired me because I need to keep on rowing forward non stop.Finally, it had ended.After washing up,we had our lunch.Soon,the instructors taught us how to make a tent.After that, we started to try out on how to build the tent and I enjoyed it.


Soon, the tent was fixed.We were quite fast.Rafting is the next activity.Rafting is all about teamwork,cooperation,creativity and perserverance.We had to stand under the hot sun througout.Before evening, we did our outdoor cooking.My dinner was nice.After the sun went down,we played the Quiz Quest or the Adventure Quest.I was having a lovely time.I liked all the games.It was really a fun and enjoyable night.Tonight,we get to sleep in our tent too!


Day 2 (4 Feb)

Today,I woke up around six am.Not long,the camp site was filled with
chattering again.Than,we started to keep our tent.Not long,it was already dawn as I watched the first light shining across the horizon.After
eating our breakfast,we packed our bags.We were on our way to Sungei
Buloh.After a long journey,we reached our destination.At the nature
reserve,I saw alot of animals which I had never seen before.Like mudskippers,small crabs,monitor lizard,sea snake and the migratory birds.On the way, I did learnt many things about mangroves.Indeed,this
was a fun learning journey for me.

Upon reaching school,we ate our lunch.Soon,it was time to do the high elements.While waiting for the two groups,we did caving.It was exciting
but a little scary.I liked doing the high elements,for me they were actually very fun.Although
they seem high off the ground.I had overcomed my fear.That night,we had our camp fire.We did our skit.We also learnt alot of camp songs too.The campfire was really lovely.After we did our reflections,we finally ended the day.



Day 3 (5 Feb)

Today,I woke up just in time.I packed my things and left the hall.I was quite sleepy.After having breakfast,we gather in the music room and recalled how to do CPR.Soon,we were back to the camp room to learn some first aid skills.
It was fun and meaningful.After that,Speedy told us some of his stories.Each of
them came with morals.I liked this period because I liked to hear stories.In the
lab,we did the surveys and was later dismissed after our valubles were returned.

The camp passed quickly.During these three days of camp, I did learnt alot of
things.Anyway,this is the most fun and enjoyable camp I had ever had.
